Welcome

Welcome to the Australian Christian Churches (Queensland) website.

We are grateful to God for the developments that have occurred within so many of our local churches and, consequently, through our corporate efforts.

There is a genuine advancement of the Kingdom of God in the great state of Queensland. It is an honour to be serving the Lord during this exciting season.

Message from State President

Momentum continues to build as we focus on the four (4) main components of our State strategy. They are:

  1. STRONGER CHURCHES
With a clear call to evangelise, we are believing to see 10% growth per annum in all our churches. This naturally follows a strong emphasis on church health. A key factor, of course, will be the next issu

  2. STRONGER LEADERS
Supported, connected, informed and trained pastors and leaders are a priority. There are a number of State and regional processes to assist with this.

  3. NEW LEADERS
We continue to facilitate the development of the next generation through programs and opportunities given.

  4. NEW CHURCHES
Our goal is to see one vibrant AOG Church per 10,000 people in each community across the State. (currently it is 1:13,500)

With most cities and towns covered, our challenge is to be more strategic in our church planting. The major new frontiers for planting will be:
    a) Areas of population growth, and
    b) Ethnic groups

The driving force behind our progress comes from:

  • A tremendous team on our State Executive.

  • Hard working Regional Leaders (fourteen in total) covering this vast State and the Northern Territory.

  • Departments
Kids R Us, Youth Alive, Queensland Christian Women, Teen Challenge, Chaplaincy, Rangers, New Churches - Queensland, State Ministries Queensland.

  • Churches who have carried the load in assisting our smaller churches, through networking presenting conferences and serving wherever needed. I greatly appreciate their kingdom mindedness and commitment to the cause.

Should you wish to know any more about the above, please contact us via phone (07 3375 7772) or email (admin@qldacc.org.au).

I love Queensland and believe God has great things in store for it as the Church becomes the force its meant to be. There is a growing spirit of camaraderie, based on respect for one another; an ever increasing passion to reach lost people with the Gospel; and, very importantly, a rising tide of faith believing we can make a significant difference for Jesus Christ.
